“Napoleons Bouquet”

There is something I find very satisfying in rendering spray paint over and over with layer upon layer in a painting. There is a stigma that enters your head when you look at paint on a canvas painted with a spray can. You can choose to run with it or put the time in to achieve something more defined. Leaving traces of that stigma is something that impresses me when I see it in other artists work. It is - “here is what a spray can does when you don’t try but heres what it looks like when you do”. I think thats what makes art with spray paint so desired and the appeal to people is that story it comes with and I love the idea of that, it can be boring otherwise.

Acrylic spraypaint/canvas
